Hey guys I am new to the forum! I have learned a lot of great information on here all ready. I have a question. I just bought a 2002 Grand Prix GT 2 dr with 138,000 miles. I believe the sending unit is bad because the gas gauge fluxuates and never reads correctly (basically always stays on full or 3/4 tank). I found out by reading some older posts on here how to replace the fuel sending unit, but my question is. Since it has almost 140k on it, should I replace the whole pump instead of just the sending unit. I didn't really want to have to do that because a fuel pump can run anywhere from $200 to $300 from what I have seen, and the sending unit is only $30. Whats everyone's opinion? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome! I recommend getting the drop in pump assembly from WBodyStore and call it done. Quick, simple, and no fuss. Quickchange Fuel Pump
