the part that is leaking is a coolant bypass elbow and the Tensioner Assembly will need removed to replace it. There are two elbows that connect it to the engine and both elbows should be replaced at the same time.. But where can I find these elbows? I searched ebay and amazon but found no results
Its a 1998 by the way.

On a 98 you only have one replaceable coolant elbow. Autozone has them in the help section.

Sorry to jack your thread but I have the same issue ever since I replaced my LIM gaskets and UIM. I have a 2002 so I have 2 plastic elbows. I replaced both elbows with new when I did the intake however they began leaking almost immediately. It looked like the new orings wore out right away. I then removed both elbows and sealed them up with high temp RTV but it is leaking again. I got my new elbows with my new Dorman upper intake. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this issue?

During my LIM job i replaced these elbows and they never leaked. i put a sizeable bead of RTV in front of the orings so the RTV would seal around them. Make sure you removed ALL of the old plastic elbow pieces, both of mine left broken pieces in there.

You can find these elbows at most auto parts stores in what they call the HELP section. good luck.

Exactly, odds are you still have a piece of the elbow inside of the block or tensioner.

Sorry to jack the jacked post, but I am working on my son's 2005 Grand Prix and EVERY stinkin hole has broken elbow rings in them. What do I use to get the rings out? Thanks!

Ah! Thanks. My method (flathead screwdriver and a lot of /mental/ cursing) isn't really working. :-)

Anything that would help "eat away" or "melt" the plastic? Or should I just keep chipping away?

i scraped all that crap out with the pick set i posted a pic of. worked good, then sprayed with brake cleaner and wiped down. lubed the new elbow O rings with some oil off the dip stick and they slid in like butter.
