    I made a custom intake

    Parts:

    3 inch PVC pipe from home depot

    Air filter 3-4 inch adjustable

    Hack saw

    Cigarettes

    And a 30 rack of mountain dew.

    if the intent of sticking the filter in the fender well was to get cold air its being offset by the warm air from the engine by not having a way to block it

    Take out the flexible rib part. That defeats the purpose of having an open cone.

    Not if the pvc is long enough to go past the corrugated part. I did that with mine, but I didnt like the look of the corrugated part so I cut it off.

    03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    Yea, just put a little elbow where the intake tubing is, and construct an air box.

    i made the pipe go past the rib part and as far as the fender wall coldness thing... i just did it for the sound, for now. but i plan on making a box for it.
