I was wondering, i just recently put in an l26 engine in my 98 and now i'm getting a P0135 code. I had to extend the connector harness for the 02 sensor and the sensor is hitting the firewall.

I was wondering if anyone knows of shorter O2 sensors or if the only solution is to pound the wall back a little, and what the best O2 sensor is.

would that P0135 code cause any other problems like a lean or really minor stumbling in the throttle response?

You'll have to take a sledge to the firewall. That's what they had to to at the IAGP meet for some SDs..

o2 Sensors are all pretty universal as far as size goes.

Yes, o2 codes probably mean that you're running rich/lean and having throttling issues.
