I appreciate the response but I have a engine stethescope and its not the engine. This noise is coming from the supercharger and if I remove the air box cover you can here it clearly its coming from the supercharger and I belive it the rotor bearings are failing and with the scope you can hear the grinding at the rotor bearing end of the SC I just replaced the coupler not more than a month ago and I used GM supercharger oil.

Well I took the valve covers off and had a friend crank it over. I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. So I guess I will just replace the engine. all the places I see want about 700 for one does this seem high? and if anyone has recommendations on where to get one (besides morad way to $$$) it would be helpful!

start calling your local junk yards, auto salvage yards. google, craigslist, ebay, pick one lol local pick up will cut out shipping costs too.

edit, 700 is the top side of the price for these engines keep looking you'll find something in the 500 range if you try hard enough.
