    so my lights....
with the normal lights on only the passenger side hid comes on... with the brights on only the driver side light comes on... so do zzp lights blow that bad or did I not plug the lights in right idk I'm going to go mess with them but I kind of need lights lol my fogs are 6000k so they are bright enough to drive off of but I think thats illegal no headlights...

ffs one thing after the other right

put my old bulbs in idk what I'm going to do with the hid kit probablly drive all the way to zzp hq and throw it through the window...

Drove the car around a bit wanted to make sure everything is good before I take it down to lake cumberland and all the electronics seemed to still work fine past 140 so I think its good to go : P

Probablly change the oil and maybe do a coolant flush before I leave tomorrow... Oh and I'm missing one of my lug nuts because my dad lost one off of his car and took one from my car and said you can go to auto zone... so how long can I drive with out that lol

i wonder how much it would be to ship a lug nut in the mail lol i have a giant bag of brand new ones.

taz atleast you didnt have crazy wire fire when you started your car up.
when i finished my wagon i fired it up and it ran for 2min then one of the battery cables melted and started a fire, ( pontiacs great idea of runnning the wire an inch from the headers on top of the motor mount)

Are you guys using relay harnesses?
And maybe this is silly but I figure I have to ask... is everything grounded properly? I've had my VVME's for over 2 months, heads and fogs, and not a single problem.
Also try swapping just the bulbs. If you don't give the lights proper time to cool down between on and off, you'll blow em.

I have a relay harness, and they've been acting retarded. Drove to the gas station (only passenger bulb would light up). turned off to fill up (about 5 minutes). when I started it back up both bulbs worked fine... wtf.

Listen to the ballast when they're both on, and listen again when only one lights up and see if you can hear one of the ballasts not igniting. Most ballasts at least hum on startup.

I've see the ability to plug into the ballast upside down and when that's the case.. the light won't work. Sometimes it's good to try and flip your connectors.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I don't the the VVME ballasts can be plugged in upside down. I'd have to go out and look at mine though to know for sure.

Yeah, they can. And if they do then they won't work...been there, done that. Which is why I pulg them in and go key on before I bolt everything in place on each headlight/foglight.

On these theres a tab on one side that the connector slides over so you know its on the right side. When I pulled the bulbs one looked like it was full of blue ink, and the other didn't, but one had some burn marks on it as well.
I'm going to email zzp tell them that I understand they dont take returns on electrical then I'll tell them my situation and ask if they know what might be wrong with them. If they reply with that B.S. that I did somthing wrong then I'm going to reply with you didn't include any directions what so ever...
I'd be a lot less upset If I had only paid 50-60 bucks for them but 120 bucks for something of this quality is disipointing to me. I always thought zzp did a good job with there products but now I'm starting to understand why you all hate on them so much.
