I need to replace the engine bracket on the passenger side. It is the U shaped one that bolts down onto the engine mount that that looks like this.

I have been looking around on the internet and I am having trouble finding information about it. I was wondering if anyone knew the easiest way to change it.

thats called a motor mount.

What you have there is a Hydraulic Motor Mount. Easiest way to change it is to first, remove passenger wheel, then jack the vehicle up using the passenger from side jack point(Be sure not to jack it up using the subframe because this is what the motor rests on). Unbolt your dogbones(upper engine mounts), loosen the 4 bolts on the motor mount itself, to do this your going to need an offset 15mm wrench to fit into the subframe on the passenger side to get the ones on top of the motor mount itself which are bolted to the engine-to-motor mount-bracket-thing. Then, after removing the bolts, get yourself a 2x4 and place it inbetween the oil pan and tranny pan and begin to slowly jack the motor up until the motor clears the motor mount and it should be easily removed. Then rewind for install. A new motor mount should run you about 40-60bucks at Napa/Autobone/Oriellys.

I know that is the motor mount I could not find a picture of the bracket that I need to replace. The bracket that I need to replace is the u shaped bracket that sits on that mount.

I find a ratcheting wrench is the easiest way to get to the bolts. You could pull the rubber mount out, then get that bracket off w/o pulling the subframe. It's a bit of a pain though.

Also adkaven...opt for the solid rubber replacement mount, not the fluid filled hydraulic one. That way you won't be replacing the mount again.

and while you're at it, replace the tranny mount on the driver's side with the solid replacement as well...because it will fail once you replace the engine mount. it did that on mine
but the tranny mount is easier than the engine mount so no extra work really.

let's keep in mind that the solid engine mount requires you to add spacers to make up for the space that the hydraulic fluid isn't taking up or your engine looks like it's sitting 1/2" or so too low on the passenger end.
