Neither, zzp ran 8's on stock pistons. So if you not going faster than that stock is fine.
so i dont need to install forged pistons, everyone has told me i have to
Everyone...whoever you talked to hasn't been involved in the 3800 platform.
Stage 2 heads by intense 130lb springs, cartuning turbo with stattama 67 turbo. l32 rods, stage 3 cam from zzp. hv3, dont know if i need to do piston work or not, car has only 40,000 miles on it
talked to the people at intense and they recomended me to
Should be golden
use your factory 40k pistons.
its a l26 not a supercharged, so i have the smaller arms etc
i am also running the higher compression ratio which isnt good for the turbo
ZZ Performance
would this be the better option
You can't used your stock pistons anyways.... Different wrist pins.
Yeah, those pistons are probably good.
Do research on them first though.
well matt would u use the hyper's or the forged, the hypers are half price lol 650 for diamonds vs 335
To be honest you COULD just leave your bottom end stock....
It'd save you a lot of money.
Wouldn't limit power too much.
Just intercool and make sure you have a good tune and wideband running all the time.
the turbo is intercooled and the engine is already apart, prob just gonna go with the hyper pistons then
isnt zzp's car a stock bottom block
