Really, its an argument between people who have been there, and done it. Sometimes over and over again.
The is no underlying problem, except the coils are crap. You may be fine running the MSD's, you may not. If you start getting misfires, etc, check the coils first.
I spent over a week, double, triple checking, and replacing everything, to find out it was the coils.
Experience is better than theory too. Just sayin
so im hoping that everyone does know that to run the msd packs, there are interface blocks that have to be put down between the packs and the module itself, withouth the interfaces then your gonna have bad luck with them on a large scale.
i know theres people out there that know MOAR<lol, im not saying im a guru by any means, I was just making debate that's all. Im a collision guy anyways(sure i cant build a 900 HP car but I can take a totalled car with diamond in the center section and mash in the front or back; pull the frame, and put it back to oem). Were all just bored here at work so we all read these when we're slow. I'm really not trying to disrespect anybody.
purchased both the coilpacks and msd wires.... works perfectly and i do see increased gas mileage and throttle response...
cant wait to see your "random misfire HELP" thread
Yeah, I will attribute the mpg and throttle response to the plug wires...
