    Hi folks,

I am trying to replace the ignition switch on my 2000 regal ls. I have some trouble to release the lock wheel cyliner. I followed the service manual and several online writeup. But when I put a allen wrench on the hole of electric lock module, I can't push the hex key any further down to release the retaining pin.
Did I do something wrong or the retaining pin on my cyliner lock is frozen? If the latter, what should I do?

try to rotate/wiggle the cylinder while pulling out as you have the release pressed.

    97 GT - slow, rusty
93 CTD - more slow, less rust
