    Just a quick question when i start my gt its hard to describe its not like its hard to start or it makes a crazy noise or shakes vilently its just one quick motion that but not a motion sorry I cant figure out how to describe it is this due to my exhaust leak? Thats what i figured it was idk just tell me what you think and go ahead and laugh at my description cause I am

    Maybe your mounts are shot?

    I just installed new zzp motor mounts on the dog bones like 1-2 months ago its not really shakeing it just feels like the engine is starting with all its might hard to explane lol

    Im not sure this will help but ever since I installed zzp shorten dogbones,the car likes to jerk a bit and make a sound like the car is being ran up a bit(rpm wise).It only happens when the car starts and only for a instant.
    To me my problem is no problem but urs may sound worse because that leak u mention

    Hard to describe is right...

    My 2002 used to have that "one quick motion" deal going on, and it ended up being the engine and transmission mounts, which were both totally shot. Replaced them, and it's been smooth ever since.

    And I have no idea how an exhaust leak would cause what I think you're describing

    so what mounts should I buy seems like there is a couple diffrent types out there and what does it take to swap these out ?

    They are easy to do and be done with simple hand tools and a jack with a solid 2x4.

    Get ZZP Poly Upper Square/Round mounts for the dog bones and the brackets they bolt to.

    Go to Autozone or your local parts store and buy the solid rubber factory replacement for the lower engine and transmission mount. Your looking at probably $150 when all is said and done and shipped to your front door.
