My 1997 grand prix GT is leaking coolant and I am lost! The leak is coming from the drivers side and seems to be coming from behind the radiator or on the bottom of it but I cannot pin point the leaks location. The temp gauge does not enter the red but is between 210 and the red at its hottest and thats when coolant leaks pretty bad. Also while driving the temp goes down but if I am sitting at a light the temp rises quickly again. Any ideas what could be the issue? I think it is the radiator but I want to make sure before I take things apart and look for the leak! Any help would be great! Thanks

Coolant elbows by the alternator side of the engine under the lower intake manifold?

May also be leaking by where the plastic tanks are crimped onto the radiator at. Your just going to have to look and trace it out. It's the only way. The car is overheating when you come to a stop more than likley because you are low on coolant.

Well if its leaking at the rad and the hoses are not leaking, you more than likely need a new rad.
