Heads, LIM, vac lines, SC, TB, PCM programming, fuel rail, fuel injectors, idler pullies, tensioner, harmonic balancer, and various other small odds and ends.
Some places sell complete packages. Though I don't know they have them for the Series III engines. You'd need the Gen V M90 and I don't know how all that electronic throttle body non-sense would work.
You sure you would need the gen5 s/c? I thought the l26 block was the same as the l67 block, just higher compression because the l26 block is N/A. The l26 block has stronger connecting rods and such.
I was under the assumption that you could swap the lower end of a l67 with a l26 and everything would bolt up, though the only one I've seen had a gen v swap on top of it.
Regardless, if you top swapped the l26, you would have to run a slightly larger pulley compared to everyone else because of the higher compression. You would make more power though.
can i use my t body or is there an aftermarket one for the electronic crap
I don't know if the L26 and L32 TBs are interchangeable, nor do I know if you can use the L32 throttle body with your electronics if you top swap. I haven't seen any sites that port Series III TBs that I can remember, but I'm not exactly looking since I have a Series II/III hybrid and my TB is from Series II.
Price it out you might beable to get a non IC'd turbo kit for cheaper, and would be easier to install. GenV's aren't cheap.
thanks for all the input its all a great help. you guys are great on this forum
hey i was thinking about doing the same thing to supercharge my '99 GP, some other guy said about all the stuff you have to change out and he said theres a right way and showed me a $900 and he said theres a wrong way with a link to the zz performance converter kit, if i can really get 60-70hp for the $420 it would cost for the change over and supercharger, then im gonna do it what do you guys think??
Doing it with ZZP's SS kit costs like $1k.
