I believe many of these cars have TXV's not orifice tubes.

My compressor was pretty easy to do. It will make your life easier to crawl under the car and remove the airdam (i think it has 5 bolts) theres 2 bolts on the back of the compressor plus the one bolt to remove the lines/hoses. Theres 2 bolts on the front that are easy to get to. then turn your wheels to the right and you can pull the compressor through he wheel well. It's a good hour's work, but it's nothing too complicated.

noreasonwhy : I don't know about earlier years but my 2006 has a TXV not an orifice tube. And theres a BIG difference not only in appearance and operation, but especially in price.

I was surprised my self as I don't understand why you would use a TXV with a variable displacement compressor. I have to assume for even more control.

according to rockauto's catalog 2004 is when they switched to TXV's. Sorry for the confusion kjohnson.
