I'm having intermittant headlight problems where the low beams will cut off while driving down the road and won't turn back on. I have tried to pull over and turn the car off, restart, even pulled the neg. battery terminal to try and "reset" to no avail. The next day, the lights will work again.
This has happened 3 times in the last 3-4 months (that I have noticed).
From what I can find on the web, it is suggested to change the dimmer switch (the whole turn signal, cruise control, etc).
Anyone have any experience with this? It is a 150.00 part so I don't want to change it unnecessarily.

What year is your vehicle? The issue is probably the resistor on the top of the dash.

I am having the same exact issue on my wifes 2006 GP ...her low beams will be working fine driving at night and may never happen for a week or so then all of a sudden the low beam will shut off and if she kicks the high beam on the high beams work fine .....She will leave the high beams on for a few minutes and periodically check to see if the low beams have come back on and eventually they do in about 5-10 minutes maybe even 15 minutes ...Please help...

Mine did the same thing for a while, check the head light circuit breaker in the fuse block in the glove box, mine was loose and losing connection.
