took me a week because i didnt have some parts that i needed, otherwise it would have taken me the weekend.
i spent around $1000 on doing it all. but honestly, if youre really interested in doing this and you dont have a lot of experience with it you might want to consider building an engine on the side with some supervision and then dropping it in the car. pulling the heads while in the engine bay can be done, as ive done it a few times, but its WAY easier on an engine stand or a work bench.
overall there are a lot of things do do for the swap. the added compression from the l36 block makes it more finicky when running boost, you cant run as much. youre almost best off doing a complete l67 swap.
coming from someone who has done this, blew up the motor, and then done an l67 swap...do the l67 swap. ive gone through a block and a set of heads from not putting the engine together the right way. there is a lot of little crap that you need to make sure is done, otherwise your setup is DOA.
I have the ZZP SS M90 kit https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_...=382&catid=109 and I spent about $900 on mine. But i also got around some of the costs by using custom fabricated L67 rails and using a die grinder on the supercharger casing to clearance the injectors. With all the neccessary parts from ZZP, it would be somewhere around $1500. One of my buddies, who is a mechanic, helped me out with the install and I think the total install time was about 5 hours.
