    ok so i was going on to the high way last night. when i got to about 50. the engine light start to flash. for about 10sec. the car runs fine . but when it hapeing it flet like thery was no power to get it there. what can this mean.
    i would like to see what ever one thinks . the car is a 05 gt.

    we need to have a code..go to autozone and get it scanned there or someone else and get us the code number, the symptoms that you experienced could be one of many things...MAF, CKPS, etc. but without knowing the code it does us no good. get the actual Pnumber or whatever it is not the english version of what they tell you it is.

    Flashing check engine light is a possible catalyst damaging condition as stated in the FSM. What it usually means is there's a bad misfire.

    I'd check plugs, wires and all the usual tune up stuff along with coils etc. .
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    factory service manual. my CEL blinked when i had multiple misfires. and you said it felt like you had no power. do what billboost said. check plugs wires and coils. also check to see if the wires are kinked or anything on the ICM(IGnition control module). I ended up having a split wire on my GT before i top swapped it.

    i found that the 2and 5 cly plug wire were swiched. so i put them back but i haved driven the car yet. to see if that was it. but pruble was.
