im so sick of this car right now

Maybe the ICM itself is bad...
misfires are a ***** to deal with. for the longest time my car misfired at idle only, but once i drove it a bunch more it ended up going away on its own. there are really only a few things it could be with the electrical system (ICM, coild, wires, plugs). once youve replaced all that its time to swap injectors to see if the misfire moves.
have you gotten your car tuned yet?
yep it was the injectors bio, #1 was bad. anywho, go to the store and get a new one, 78 bucks. put it in hit the key and she purrs like a kitten . so me thinks its time for a nice easy test drive. i get about 10 miles down my road and turn right. car dies. try starting it, fires right back up. 1 mile late, it dies again. i **** for about 15 min lookin stuff over and try it again, and it fired up and got me home, but died pulling into the garage. so i check stuff out and try to start it again and its huffing air out the fwi. pull the valve cover off and put #1 at tdc and checked and both valves are closed, so its in time. i run it for like 5 min and look under the car, and the cat is cherry. it only does this while at full operating temp.....wtf?
and im running a zzp tuned ecm, i bought it cause it was decently priced and i just need the car to get me through till thanksgiving break and im going to have it dyno tuned. abs light is on, and i have the check engine light flashing, the codes are for the maf, and i cant remember the others...also while it was running, if i was about half throttle when i started feeling the boost, the engine would go up to 4k and bounce like it was on a rev limiter
You have a bad misfire which is causing the flashing CEL. Check your plugs and wires. If you start to get misfires or hesitation under boost, the plugs and wires are usually the problem.
a tune...?
16.7 is lean. usually at idle you should be in the 14.7 area, but i always ran mine a little leaner (15.0). it should bounce somewhere in the 13.5 area when cruising and WOT you should be running in the 11.5 area or better.
the engine itself is super strong though since the rebuild. my buddy and i were messin around before the sc pulley got here and cranked it over and it had enough vacuum to turn the sc shaft, i figured thast was good...maybe its normal
