Was wondering if anyone with a N/A 3800 05+ got their PCM tuned and if it made any significant improvements. I'm considering it, but would like feedback from somebody who has had it done already. My car is an 07 so I would have to get an 05 PCM and my gas gauge would read backwards.

just a tune doesnt do a whole lot of good without any mods to go with it. wouldnt be any seat of the pants gain.

If you havent already read my Safely Modding your 3800 thread.

The PCM is one of the last of the basic bolt on mods...it is tuned for things such as a T-Stat, CAI, Exhaust Work, etc.

Unless you know someone locally with a tuner who can constantly tweak it for you, I would get all of your mods on there first(Plog, DP, air intake, HV3) and then have it tuned after you get all of that on it. Just my .02
