    yeah i had a 00' gtp with about 95000 miles and it caught on fire about a week after the recall was done by a dealership. I realize this thread is for a different recall notice, just saying watch out for what they do. I honestly believe it was something the the dealership did which caused it to burn up.

    If there's anything i regret so far in life it is taking that car to the dealership

    On a side note, my insurance company is in the process of suing GM
    2000 Gp Gtp...burned to the ground

    I have a '97 GT, but it seems silly to take it to the dealer to have them remove the plastic channel. I can do that myself in 5 seconds. They should replace the valve cover gasket, but that would make too much sense!
