My wife has a 2000 GP/GT, with 141k miles and i notice some seapage from the intake gaskets, it looks like a real PITA to do. Is there a write-up or any suggestions on how to do the job ? The local shop wants like 600.00 bucks to do the job... Ouch

There is a video on here. It is not too hard to do.
Go to your local GM dealership. Buy the aluminum GM Lower Intake Manifold gaskets. Might as well get a new Upper Coolant Elbow too. Should cost you about $50-$60 bucks. Then go to town. It is really pretty simple...if you look at it long enough
its pretty easy if you take your time. once you get the upper intake off it is a piece of cake. there is just a bunch of stuff in the way before that.

You might want to get an UIM gasket too. They're known to leak over time. ZZP sells the updated design, which you can get at the dealer too.
