Thread: P0107 After Valve Cover Gasket repairs

Hello All,

First and foremost, I am AWFUL with electronics on cars BUT I recently did the valve cover gaskets for inspection. Now I have this wonderful code on. Where exactly IS this sensor at? Is it near the back where I'd need to remove stuff to get that rear cover off? Cause if so, I MAY have solved this already cause I dumbed and missed connecting something back there but I honestly have zero idea if that was actually it. The part that was left out was a white 3-pronged connector if that's helpful to the pros.

IIRC, the P0107 code is related to low voltage to the MAP sensor. Below is a pic of it where it lives on the upper intake manifold:

They are often fragile and the top can separate from the body if smacked while moving things around to get to the rear cover. If this is the case then get a new one. Also verify that the wiring to it is good.

Other than that the only plugs I can think of back there are for the upstream 02 sensor and some California emissions stuff that you likely don't have (this one stays unplugged).
