How does your oil look. If you are loosing coolant, you could most likely have a bad lim and it's leaking into your oil.

Lets clarify a little on this one.

It's possible that you have a bad lower intake manifold (LIM) gasket or it could be the upper intake manifold that needs to be replaced. The Naturaly Aspirated (N/A) 3800 has a plastic upper intake manifold and is known to crack around the TB area; causing coolant to leak into the engine.

It is a good idea to check and see if there is a milky film on the bottom of the oil cap. If present, this would indicate moisture in the oil that could be the coolant that you say is missing and could support the idea that you have an internal coolant leak.

My suggestion would be to not jump to conclusions as what you are describing is very general and could be two seperate problems. To diagnose the coolant leakage/usage get a coolant pressure tester and check to see (if possible) where the coolant might be leaking from. Next, you say that "seem to have fuel presure," how do you know that you have pressure that is with in specs? Did you use a fuel pressure tester?

Let us know how it goes.

It's a long shot, but could be your ICM(ignition control module). I cought mine on it's way out when I was getting random stalling. If you have a scrape yard around, check and see if they have any GP's that you could get one off for cheap and try. I'd do that before you shell out the $$$ for a new one. They're about 130 bucks new.

It's what your coil packs bolt to. When you unbolt all 3 packs, it'll come off and then all you have to do is unscrew the bolt in the harness running to it.

I haven't heard of the cps keeping it from starting at all, usually after it sits for a bit, it'll fire up. But, it's always a first for everything. I believe it's only like a $30 dollar part, so that wouldn't be to bad if you replaced and it was not it. I know it sucks though replacing parts and the problem not getting fixed. Happen to me with the ICM. Replaced a bunch of other junk until someone mentioned that.

Hope that's it. I hate playing the guessing game when it comes to this stuff. I've had to do it on mine before and sure it won't be the last.
