    fuel pump inop - any common problems? I cannot find a fuel pump relay - which I would like to try before changing the fuel pump its self...I have all the manuals etc that came with the car,no relay is mentioned..

    What happens when you apply power directly to the pump?

    Have you checked ALL the fuses? Other than that might need to give the tank a gentle smack with a rubber mallet and see if you can get the pump to live. Might just be stuck from sitting. Then again being a barn car god only knows what kind of critters may have took to dismantling the wiring on it.
