    i have a 2002 3.1 i did the lower intake gaskets and thought to change the plugs while i was at it .. the car only has 60,000 miles on it and the original plugs looked ok but since i was there i installed some bosh platinum plugs nothing special just the slandered platinum plug .. will these be ok ?

    Platinum is actually a down grade from the iridiums you already had. Some people have seen idle and misfire issues with platinum plugs. And, in general, bosch products suck.

    so am i better off putting them back in ? or should i just buy some replacement iridiums ? i was afraid of that thats why i kept the factory plugs still LOL

    I don't know about your specific car, but GM says my factory plugs were good for 100k miles. I pulled them at about 66k the they were still in great shape. Though, I was upgrading them anyway to a copper core. If I were just looking at it for maintenance purposes, I would've put mine back in.

    i would get new stock plugs and put those back in

    well it looks like i am gonna get some good new plugs now my question is what is good .. you said something about copper core ? i just want to do this once LOL well twice now
