My GF has a 2000 Century Buick. 3100. Last night I was driving it and it randomly died while i was just about to exit onto an over pass. I was breaking kinda hard and not accelerating whats so ever.
Today she was driving normal on the highway and it just died.
Both times the car started right back up without turning over hard or idling rough or doing anything that didn't seem like it didn't want to start . No warning lights or anything on the dash. Never have had a problem with anything else. Engine temp is normal. Full of fuel. No warning signs or anything showing. Just -20* outside.
I've done a little reading and could be a couple things. Crank sensor or maybe fuel pressure regulator? I haven't put a code reader on it or anything yet. But doing so should tell me if there is a sensor bad or not though, correct?
If this was your problem what would you start by doing or diagnosing?
Any help or info would be appreciated!!!
