Tried searching forums, but we know the search feature is limited.
So I will give a little history in case it coincides with the problem.
Just hit 100K a month ago car started taking longer crank time to fire up when cold. (weather not cold)
I also noticed the start of some hesitation issues here and there just when I started to first drive it. (nothing big)
Today I got up and it seem as the battery was dead. Threw on some cables and fired right up. Went to my destination turned off car and boom tried to start and battery seemed dead again. This time when i got in the car it sounded like a long drawn out beeping noise coming from the rear of the interior? It was like beeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep beep. Jumper cabled it again, fired up. Started coming home and then I started to notice a more pronounced hesitation issue like never before.
Any Ideas? Other than maybe the reg in the alternator? The whole low beeping noise thing has thrown me off fuel pump stuck running when off?
Any insight would be great!
