Hello every one. I seem to be at an impasse with my 95 grand prix se. To begin with, when I fist try to start the car either for the first time that day or after a few hours of sitting I have to let the key sit in the on position usually until the last ignition "ding" before it will actually start up, if i get in and just try to start it.. nothing, no start just turning over. After that if i make more than one stop before i get where I'm going it will begin to rough idle and accelerate, and even some times i will have to pump it with starting fluid to try to get it going. As far as I know the fuel pump has been replaced but not the sending unit, and I'm not sure what the fuel pressure is supposed to be on this system either, but I do have 23-25psi I think, but it has been a while since i checked it so I'm not 100% sure that's what it was. Has anyone else heard of or maybe even dealt with something like this before?? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks for reading my post.
