ok I used a skinny wood chisel where the gasket was and was able to pop it free after about 5 min.
So much fun huh?
it was on - i thought i missed some bolts - nope - just been there so long.
Make sure you put the pushrods back int he right order. Ugh..different length rods..lol the 3800 seems so much easier.
Make sure you clean all the gasket surfaces as well.
You gonna paint everything while it's off I'm guessing?
I'd do white...offset all the blue.
Ya i have a pic in my thread
white - valve covers, plenum - plastic sheild under rad, thermostat housing
Blue - LIM, steel tube running over LIM
first piece painted
Looks good make sure you use rtv where the coolant line goes into the lim.
ok - will do
Guy its back together and been running for a while
Where did you get the blue electrical wire tubes? I need some new plastic tubes.
Taylor's convoluted tubing - Parts Source
