driving yesturday i noticed the trans got a little warmer then usual. ( i have a cooler aswell ) thought at first it was really hot day out, checked my fluid, its not burnt, its bright red smells normal. hoped back in stoped at a light, pulled away from the light just fine,, car went through 1st, 2nd and when it was in 3rd it was good for a few seconds then i had nothing,, no trans could rev the car up and it wouldnt move... so i finally came to a stop.. let the car sit for a bit checked some things.. then started it back up,, herd a wining noise started to drive agin got around the corner (2min) same thing again lost all gears.. when i stopped i tried putting it in 1st or second and wouldnt do anyhting, but when it had cooled down it moved again ( good thing i was only 5 min total away from my house ) soo now i think its either 1 of two things.. but could be neither

    1) fliter is clogged up and the tranny pump is not getting fluid
    2) it could be the roller bearings that support the drive and driven sprockets which the chain ride on.

any other question or ideas feel free... just to clarify i cannot check out the car for atleast another 2 weeks
