Does anyone have the manual that comes with the Transgo 4t65e shift kit? I seem to have misplaced mine when I did the accumulator portion and I'm not sure what parts (if any) can be installed through the side cover while I'm replacing some solenoids. A Google image search is only getting me the page about the accumulator right now, and I can't say I need that portion anymore.

A picture or even just what you remember going in the side cover would be really appreciated, I'm hoping this will rid me of the occasional slip into gear when moving from the brake to the gas pedal. It happens on and off both from a stop and from a roll (like in stop and go traffic), and will go away for a while after disconnecting the battery. It also had Max Adapt shifts before the shift kit, so I'm hoping the PCS is the main culprit.

Just a quick update, I managed to find the manual after searching for a good hour so if anyone else needs it I can post up a picture here, just let me know. I'm not sure if I should bother with the different seals and stuff Transgo and TEP included (like the 3rd clutch seal and such), but I definitely want to install the new line and reverse boost valve components. I've got two questions though if anyone can give me some advice.

    1. Do I need to take off the valve body in order to install those components? From what I see the parts come out the side and I'm not sure if there's clearance to do as is. I know there are check balls in there that I don't want to lose, so maybe I can remove it all as one unit as I saw Billboost do in his thread I'm using as a guide: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...e-cover-access (<-I wish that was stickied, getting access to the side cover seemed difficult until I saw it, now I know it's cake).

    2. I know the boost valve sleeve can get worn over time and cause issues, so would it be worth it to also purchase and install the hardened aluminum sleeve that Sonnax makes? The line valve, reverse valve, and spring included in the TEP/Transgo kit appears to be made by Sonnax as well now that I looked through their site.
    Line/reverse/spring: http://www.sonnax.com/parts/2174
Sleeve: http://www.sonnax.com/parts/2560 (around $50 for it here: http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-08475430k.htm)

Any other recommendations are welcome (including whether it's worth installing the other parts in the kit). This is my DD, but I do have a week off of school and am confident in my abilities, so you aren't dealing with a complete noob. I'm just a bit new to transmissions. I'm assuming the solenoids will be self explanatory once the cover is off so I'm not worried there.

Soleniods are held in with a clip. Any pick or small screwdriver should have your soleniods out w/o worry.

As for gaining access through the side cover. Oh.. it's easy and simple the 2nd/3rd time out. First time, you'll be in there saying.. "geez those pictures make it look easy". You'll also realize I worded it to give you confidence, because most anyone can get that done.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I appreciate the wording for sure, I know it will take more work than it appears but it makes it very straightforward having some directions and pictures. I also noticed from your pics that the valve body and channel plate assembly sits out farther than I thought, so I was silly thinking I wouldn't have clearance.

I went ahead and bought the new sleeve, but I did notice it comes with its own valves. I'm assuming I'll use the new spring, but I'm not sure if I should swap out the included valves with the one from the shift kit. I guess I'll see once I get the thing in my hands and look it over.

I appreciate the feedback Bill, great job on the write up btw.

Edit: I just realized I have to pull off the valvebody/channel plate anyways for the 3-4 accumulator portion, so looks like I need some more gaskets. Does the pump need any gaskets replaced when it goes back on?
