King.. what you could do to rebuild while your still driving is have a non hd trans rebuilt with all the upgrades etc, then toss your HD diff and diff cover into it. Presto, insta 3.29 overall ratio because the non hd has the 1:1 ratio

So basically your saying get a none supercharged transmission? do the upgrades to that and swap the differentials from what i have now?

ok thanks for the info guys. Now for a smart question. Anything i can do with the transmission with performance in mind. Or is everything more about not breaking it?

Yeah most is about making it harder to break. TEP's page here: http://shop.tripleedgeperformance.co...pgrades_c2.htm < Upgrades

The only part in that category that looks to me like an actual performance increase is the Sonnax Performance Line Pressure Booster Kit.
2006 Grand Prix GT S/C 109k - Modded Transgo Shift Kit, Gutted Airbox, Dash Cam, and Inlays. Retros soon to come.
2002 Grand Prix GT N/A 127k - Same as 06 Plus: Trans Cooler, DIY Aux Input, LED lighting, Suspension Upgrades, Tint, Retrofits.
    Sold.

TEP does a lot in the valve body and overall the trans. Dave has worked directly with Sonnax, Transgo and the likes in helping to develop some things.

Recently a new third gear apply piston became available, things like that or the way things are done when building. Many people don't realize the feed hole size vs pressure increase differences and how they effect the rest of the trans. I've gleaned a lot of knowledge about these transmissions and bet you that I still don't know most of the things TEP does in a trans to make it the awesome end product that they build.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So one, last question.... Im guessing 3.29 gears are, best for, performance. However being that I have 24 wouldnt,be good for my transmission life?

3.29s would help with the rims.
