Trans go all the way
So get a built.one is what your saying
Do you know the website where i can order it.from
the one from intense is the best a trans go is a stock replacement essentially
Ok so the trans go is.mostly to replace the old parts but if.i wanted to would i be able to do the intense one just need it to.last till next spring i have basic.mods got headers a 3.4 pullet but no tune not yet at least
Thrasher
Intense is a Transgo with a couple extra spacers, fresh seals, filter and green scrubby to scuff the bores.
ZZP is a few plastic spacers depending on the one you get. IMO I wouldn't buy it. On their site is a free how to for a cheap kit by buying your own spacers.
Transgo is a good kit. It's not just a replace stock parts. There's no stock shims in the accumulators.
Thrasher IIRC was the same as an Intense set to kill.
Thank you bill boost for explaining
It that way and im gonna go with the intense kit than cause.i definitely want my trans to last
Shift kit helps the clutches last longer because they aren't being engaged for as long. It's harder on the rest of the trans though. Not that the trans would notice, so party on Garth.
Sweet as long as it last till next spring thats all i need cause im.only taking it for a few runs at thw track before it.closes
Anything else you recommend for the tranny or upgrades that arent to costly ya know
Shift kit (already covered)
Trans cooler
New pcs if you've got the original on a 98-03 trans with at least 100k (cheapest and most effective on a trans with a failing pcs)
Transgo's are really the best route for a nearly stock feel and the least chance of causing stress on hard parts.
Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...t+kit&_sacat=0
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Transgo-T84167...=4t65e+transgo
Ive got the transgo kit in both my gp's, and it will give you a slightly firmer shift than stock. Also, along with the spacers, the springs are actually doubled (two for each accumulator side i believe)So it is more than a stock spring replacement.
Ok thanks guys and i thought our cars didnt need tranny coolers it was in an article i read by zzp are they wrong than?
