9/20/13 THANK YOU
Got it back from Andrew today, he is the man.
That's the old hub, wasn't a thing left on it lol. And he said it needs a rebuild soon, seals are hard, was lots of clutch material. Said 3rd seal has blow by so it's on the way out too. So no tracking it, take it easy till you can get a rebuild. Figure I'll ease it through winter and do it in the spring.
the hell it don't!
josh is at 263k miles on his trans.
kenny is almost at 300k on his.
that hoe owes me more. at 142k I did not anticipate this. and between the GT and this car... I have experienced almost every "common problem" these fvckers have.
That's pretty bad. After loosing 4th did you leave it in D all the time? Or did you stick it in 3 so it couldn't get worse? For the little you did drive it after, anyway.
This looks better: Heat treated hub
oh I just left it in D, I knew there wasn't nothin left to it it never tried to engage.
By mid 03 and on it was a pretty good transmission. Still a few slightly common problems but they really worked out most of the kinks. Still the 3800 didn't have the aluminum intake gaskets til mid 05, so by then the whole cars were pretty well worked out.
