Quick question for you all.... I had a trans built by tim king and he was suppose to install z-pak clutches in 3rd and there stock clutches so I found a set of z-pak clutches that are barely used like brand new but me or the seller that is a friend of mine has no idea what there worth. Any ideas as to what he should charge me/ j should pay him for them? There already being installed in my trans we just need to figure out a price lol.

John I had mine for sale new for 135 plus shipping. Used I would say 50. Any transmission part that is used shouldn't go by the 20% mod depreciation like other mods on a car. They have a lot higher depreciation Imo.

I'd say free. That's me though, I know you are probably going broke feeding him beer and pizza......cause I taught him how to eat a Frankies party sized pizza almost by himself and Randy taught him to drink.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

hahaha bill thats awesome, i talked to dave at tep and he told me not to worry about getting z-pak clutches to use his 3rd gear upgrade he is willing to sell me and it will be just as good if not a little better. he told me not to get raybestos stage 1 clutches for input or second just to use borgs with the upgrades to tighten up tolerances so i am thinking thats the way i am gonna go.

    opinions??

It's tough to second guess a guy who builds and looks at the carnage within these transmissions day after day.

I took Dave's advice on my builds as well.
