    hello go 06 grand prix at 70mph rpm go up and down a few hundred like 2300 to 2000 just jumps back and forth kinda aggrevating and was wondering if it would show prob if i put it on a scanner tool? thanks dustyn

    It will most likely not, unless you have a GM Tech II or the like that can read trans codes.

    While you are doing 70, are you maintaining speed, or trying to accelerate when the flucuation happens? It may not be your trans at all, could be tune-up related.

    ignition control module. its under the coils.

    car never stalls it just has the problem at 70+ mph

    took car to trans shops said torque converter slips at 70mph need solinoid

    Dusty.. the maintenance on the car is up to par correct? Needing a tune up of plugs and wires or throttle body/maf cleaning can also exhibit the same symptoms.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
