So one of the big things that I have always done with my past cars that were Automatic was a torque converter upgrade. In my old 00 Z28 I put in a Yank 4000 and it was a night and day difference, same story with the LT1/4l60e Setup in my old 86 Firebird with a Yank 3600SS. These converters cost me over $750+ but these made the build and was the one thing I never regretted doing to my cars.
Now my question is for those who have actually done a Converter upgrade, what did you all go with? From what I see, ZZP sells a 245mm but besides the stall speed, they dont provide anymore info.
My other question is about the stock converter in our cars, any info on it?
