Any thoughts?

136000 miles, all stock. I was drivin and all the sudden this whining started and the car wouldn't accelerate all the way. It wouldn't go above 3000 rpms and seems slow to leave an intersection. The fluid is still red and the filter is decent, no burning smell, no CEL or any other signs something may be going. I use it as a dd and don't beat on it, any thoughts? Thanks guys.

if in park will the engine rpms go over 3,000?

In park it will go all the way through the rpm spectrum. When I'm driving it when I. Give it gas it seems to hesitate. When cruising around 55 it seems like it doesn't know what gear it wants to be in. Shifts either between third and fourth or between fourth and overdrive more than it should, when I take my foot off the gas the rpms drop to around 1100 and idk for sure but I don't think 1100 rpms at 60 is correct?

TCC solenoid

Put a OBDII scanner on it and see if there are any history DTC's. I think the codes are 0741 and 1870, correct me if wrong.

If it is the TCC, driving it may destroy the tansmission.
