I had a leaking cooler line (leaking at the crimps). I had purchased new hoses but returned them as a couple of the bends seemed to be flattened, and of course I was worried this would cause problems. I ended up splicing 3/8 power steering hose and double EFI clamping both ends. I ran it at idle and no leaks, but others have suggested that upwards of 300psi go through these lines (which I simply cannot believe) and that the hose can blow off. Personally I feel this is a better solution than replacing crimps that will probably look in a few years again anyways.
