    my car wont shift at all it stays in first gear but it goes over 50mph i dont know whats wrong how can i fix it or do any of u know whats wrong please help i have i 2000 grand prix

    Give us more information please. Do you select 1 with shifter? If so..that's sounding a lot like a broken forward band.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    i dont know anything its automatic is all i know its a 2000 grand prix and it doesnt shift it just keeps in first
