Just wanted to let everyone that's contemplating doing their own rebuild of a valuable resource. I found this dvd available on ebay & it helped a LOT with my rebuild! See we need some one with experience to buy this and look it over. That way if it leaves something out that's important we will know. Now on the other hand me not knowing anything about transmissions would probably think it's pretty good lol.

Trannyman would probably be the best candidate to evaluate the usefulness of the video. Though, he doesnt need it obviously. Ive mentioned to him before that if he made a video step by step guide with the tips and tricks Id buy it in a heartbeat. But he is an extremely busy guy and finding time to do such things with a full time business and a family isnt the easiest of things to do.

update: Finished the rebuild and installing the trans this weekend - I will be sending the dvd with my tourque converter core to dave for his assessment.

Oh yeah...visuals help a lot, and he had some pretty good tricks to avoid having to purchase special tools
