    How much of a "clunk" is normal when shifting from park to reverse/drive? Can you explain somehow? Thanks.

    I think mine is louder when going to revers...hbu?

    Shouldn't clunk at all really.

    If it does...you have failing mounts...and if the mounts aren't clunking...then the downpipe hitting the sway bar is probably making that noise.

    If I park on an incline mine clunks when I shift out of park.
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

    None, As stated, only way it would clunk is if your mounts are shot.

    Get a solid rubber transmission mount and a factory replacement mount. Flip your upper mounts after you install both of those.

    Then enjoy no movement...well...no movement compared to my entire poly'd engine...YEZ.

    By that u mean solid engine mount and aold tranny mount? Should I just start with the tranny one? It's $100 plus shipping for both from zzp...

    there was just a thread about mounts, if you are stock, just get the stock replacements, they will last for years to come if you dont beat the car daily. and i think both mounts were like 90 bucks iirc.

    They are really easy to change. It took me an hour and that was with a 25 min round trip to pick up the mount.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.

    ebay has the soild rubber mounts as does autozone for WAY cheaper.
