Alright, I'm trying to change out my Gen I intense LSD with a stock differential. Low and behold the clutches for the Gen I were shot....
Anyways, I bought a used differential and I've been having one hell of a time trying to install it! Looking at the two closely, I found that the planetary gear that the output shaft slids into and the slip ring engages into are different!!!!

Here is the Intense Gen I unit, the one that came out of the transmission, notice the taper in the gear so the slip ring can go in and seat itself.
Here is the new differential gear, notice the lack of a taper, it seems like its machined at the wrong end of the gear!
So I can't get the slip ring to seat, can anyone help me out with this!?
