I'm not sure if it's my transmission, but my car really struggles with power when I'm going up an incline. I recently had to pull over on the freeway because a semi was bearing down on me. Even when I'm on level ground, it has problems but it's not as noticeable. The RPM needle will move up when I try to increase speed, but often times the car will not respond. There really are no irregular sounds except for minimal engine rev noises. Could this be a problem with my fuel filter? The engine is a 3.8L and it actually came out of an Impala (it has about 55K miles on it). I don't know if the transimission is "missing", or if it's something else. I really appreciate any help. Thanks!
