Did you get the coolers from zzp and everything came with it?
I got my Long LPD 18,000 GVW coolers from amazon or ebay:
https://www.amazon.com/Long-Tru-Cool.../dp/B005XZXB1M
The coolers come with everything you need: The cooler, hoses, mounting brackets, hose clamps, nut and bolts for the mounts etc.
I used 2 coolers, one on each side in the nose in front of the condenser since I figured I could get them in without removing anything from the bottom front of the nose. If I was doing the install today I would use the biggest Long LPD cooler I could mount in the space or the Long Tru Cool Max if you can get it in place. My installation was done in 2009, 8 years ago, and still perfect, GP used as a DD all year round.
I know it's a old thread, but I'm getting ready to do this to my 01 Grand Prix SE, with 107,500 on the clock.
Slightly hard shifts after a few miles. Not real hard or anything. Probably won't get to it till the spring though. I'll be happy to get 20,000 more out of the trans, as l only put a few thousand miles a year on the car.
I'll probably do the trans cooler too.
You say the one cooler the one fellow linked to on Amazon will be good for these cars?
[Hello, I would like some help in knowing how to change the pistons, I want to replace them but I don't have a clear idea of how to remove the spring that is stuck on the piston, if you have any video or some instructions on how to do it I would be grateful
