I would rule out that it is not a misfire causing your concern and since it is definately new enough and within mileage of being under warranty I would really press on the dealer to fix this problem because it is under warranty. If they wont help then talk to the manager, and if he wont help contact GM until it gets resolved, there is no reason for them not to fix your car. Take them for a ride and let them feel what it is doing and tell them you dont want the car back until it is fixed. That is how I would handle this because afterall YOU are the customer who purchased the car and there is no reason it shouldnt function properly while being under warranty
