I have plenty of non-HD differentials here if you need one. Please send me an email to Dave@tripleedgeperformance.com and we can discuss a few options and if you want to order one from me.

Any non-HD diff will "work" physically, but there are three different gear ratios of non-HD diffs and if you get the wrong one you will need PCM reprogramming for the different final drive ratio.

Looking at the chart that i found from online any trans with the CB should work right that means 3.29 and 35/35 sprocket set. heres the link GM FWD Transmission ID charts the first number just means year.

You are correct. All non-HDs have the 35/35 set and Grand Prix GTs had 3.29 gears.

Anyone know if I could just do the wbodystore HD upgrade with the trans still in the car? I need this thing fixed ASAP just a thought about the HD conversion because it comes with all the parts not very cheap tho $450 but Id be willing to go that route if the filter come out ok tomorrow. Trans was just built a year ago and its completly stock engine. Not like its making 350 hp.
