Was wondering I have a 2001 Grand Prix SE 3.1 can I put a 2000 Grand Prix GT transmission in it if so what would I need to change

The trans should be the same as the GT, but you would want to verify the gear ratio on the GT and SE to make sure they match. Beyond that pretty sure that's a direct swap.
