Performance sift 04+ possible?

i know on the 97-03 cars you could wire one up is that a possibility on the 04+ cars could not find anything on them.
i just got my triple edge performance transmission put in.
the main reason i want this is to tune the performance tables to make it hold the lowest gear all the time when it is enabled.

Turbo is the way to go.

Only way to make it hold gears is to pull the shifter down into manual mode or down into 3rd or 2nd.

oh ok i though it work. if i change the part throttle table to match the full one across all the throttle percent's.
something like that
and that why i want the performance tables to work as i cant drive around like that all the time
i used to do the shifter manually to make it hold a gear if i wanted to but tripple edge performance says specify not to do that on the website
oh well i figured there was no way to do it on the new 04+ pcms just wanted to check
sorry about garbled post above

thats not how them files work. its for tp% vr speed. aka thats the mph. like its never going to shift like that. so id put the stock file back.

and them o4 up cars go into perf shift mode when you go wot all on their own. there should be two files for the shift pattern, at least there was in dhp. you can copy the perf shift files into the normal files then its perf shift all the time.

in my opinion, there is no need for performance shift once you get a custom tune.

i already have a custom tune its mostly overkills but changed to work with the 3.29 conversion from 3.05 in the hps1 transmission.
i just kinda wanted 2 modes i could manually activate there are 2 actually 3 tables for the shift speed normal performance and hot the normal and performance are already the same i never actually flashed that picture above only performance was changed just was theoretical if it would work kinda like the new cars have a sport mode to make them always hold lower gears thats what i was going for flip a switch goes in to perf mode and holds lowest gear flip back goes back to normal but i guess it not possible since the computer just pics what mode its in

iirc you can max out D1 line and it will hold 1 st gear and will not shift. id have to see your tune to figure it out.
but what you posted before just wont work. might just kill the tranny.

2007 grand prix 3.29 adjustment.hpt - Google Drive
not sure if the 07 has the d1 table not sure what thats short for but here is the tune.
but yeah defiantly not looking to kill a new hps1 transmission
the downshifts are quick enough i guess it shifts in like .100 seconds on the hpt log not sure if its accurate.

guess what im looking for is more ls stuff. figured a 04 might have it. but it dont.
your apply release files. im not liking so much. thats a lot of slip you got there. unless you have a higher stall tc. most of the time you set the release one value lower then the apply file for the same gear too.

i dont know just copied the over kill 05 pcm he sent me and put it to the 07 with the 3.29 adjustment
you think i should just put the stock one with the 3.29 ratio adjustments i would just adjust it in the gear and tire wizard in the stock file then copy the table over and not save the stock one so it still stock

those files are not for the gear change. thats torque converter slip. stock works just fine for a stock stall converter.
gear change gets done in the gear and tire wizard.

I know just need to lower the speeds from stock a bit because of 3.29 ratio conversation I'm saying I would change it in the wizard in the stock file then copy over that table I think it ends up being about 8% less because on the 3.29 file I can't convert it again without lowering all the other seeds

once again the shift speeds are not the the gear change..... use the tire gear wizard.
if your driving this car your going to kill this tranny with out a proper gear change.

i know scotty sorry im just bad at explaining things in the the Speedo reads right.
i already did the global change in the gear and tire wizard dave from tep oked it ill post the stock file so you can see its different.
stock 2007 grand prix.hpt - Google Drive
im just saying from the stock apply release table i should scale it back a bit before i copy it to the current tune 3.29 because all the mph will be lower because of shorter ratio.
sorry if im still not explaining it right im bad at text communication.
