On my 2002 GP GTP it makes a noise that is supposedly coming out of the transmission (Sort of like a single hit from two metal object), when I'm in the car it sounds like its coming from the right side of the vehicle. Also when I switched from park to reverse I notice the RPM sometimes drops from 1000 all the way down to 500, haven't noticed that before. Park to drive I notice that it does not make a noise and the rpm does not drop. Is that my reverse going out?
EDIT: The noise only happens when I'm switching to reverse, also when I'm at parked at an angle it becomes extremely stiff and needs a bit of force to switch the car from park to reverse.
EDIT: Already replaced both CV axles and trans/engine mounts.
EDIT: Need to replace tie rods and wheel hubs.

Little bit more info would be useful, when does it make this noise and what does it change when the noise happens?

Uh heres an example, I start the car up in the morning and wait half a minute. Then I put the car in reverse to get out my driveway, as soon as I put the car in reverse a loud clank noise happens. It just makes this noise every time I switch it to reverse. I notice RPM drops and sometimes the car would slow down or stop a bit while i'm reversing. When it slows down I notice my TCS Off light then begins to light up, not always but most of the time.
EDIT: Regular driving feels perfectly fine, I dont notice any slips or hard shifts.

The clunk going into reverse is classic bad mount, but if they've been replaced recently with new ones I would double check that they're tightened down properly.

The TCS light is probably either a wheel hub going bad, or the connector is dirty/wiring got messed up somewhere, any of those can make the TCS/ABS "activate" momentarily, and it will feel like a grinding or a slight pulsing when you're pulling into or out of parking spots.

I would also check the motor mounts both top and bottom, make sure everything is tightened down. You can check it by rocking the engine back and forth with a pry bar, if it clunks or moves more than an inch with a small amount of effort, they're bad or something else isn't tightened properly.

If all of that checks out, next would be CV shafts.

Anyways, my control arms are completely shot and I don't have that clunk.... My front bushings are completely torn out of their sockets by now, on both sides.
